Pine Tables Chairs
Interior Paint Advice?
Hi,
We are moving in a few weeks. Our sofa and chair are tan, with pine accent tables and we just purchased a large sage green entertainment center with matching curios... Initially we were going to paint the walls a very light pastel green (KILZ melon extract)
We have tons of artificial trees and plants as well.
Now, we have no idea what to do. The EC changes with the lighting. In bright light it looks beige, in low light it looks olive green... Any suggestions are more than welcome!
I would not put green on the walls ... it is very hard to match up greens, but if you are set on a green wall, then choose one with a grey undertone, and keep it a light, soft hue. If you do not know what I mean by undertone, then go to a specialized paint store (not a big box store) and talk with them...then pick up paint chips, or better yet, when you have it narrowed down to three, get a small jar of the colours to try on the wall. Personally I think you should stick with a tan/beige colour on the walls...this too should be tried before choosing.
