Who has cheap furniture?

I need one or leather sectional sofa set & I've checked Craig; s List for months in vain. There are Any suggestions? Thank you.

I repair furniture and upholstery to retailers in the Chicagoland area. I can tell you from first hand experience that there are SOME issues with skin and you may want to consider cloth instead. The main problem with leather is that the board, from low-end (Ashley and others) for the high end (Arhaus furniture, Ethan Allen, etc.) is the loss of color. I have seen some sets that start to lose color within 6 months to a year, and the part that is really sad is that most extended warranties DO NOT cover the loss of color (they say that this is normal usage, which is bull since the color of the skin used to last for 20 years). If they do, then you have to worry about the technology that came out to re-color, often times this will only technicians spray paint the skin with color that comes close, and in 2-3 weeks all the colors that started peeling and flaking. The reason they do this is because many companies will only repair guarantee repairs for 30 days! Worse another is that some of the lower end of the leather that you will get is good: Bicast leather (also known as bycast leather, split leather or PU leather) is split with a layer of skin polyurethane is applied to the surface and then emerge. Bycast originally created for the shoe industry and recently adopted by the furniture industry. The product is cheaper than wheat bran over and have a consistent texture artificial and easier to clean and maintain. With the constant use of the polyurethane coating will crack and split free from such support. Or: Bonded leather, or "reconstituted skin", is not really a true leather but a man-made material. Some types of skin consists of fibers bonded leather 90% to 100% (often scrap from leather tanneries or leather workshops) together with latex binders to create the look and feel similar to the skin 'true' in some fraction of the cost. This skin is not durable bond like any other leather, and is recommended for use only if the product will be used rarely. Skin types tend to divide and easily torn. Sometimes the skin looks fine for a while and then develop a model of 'Dimples', which when you press down on the 'mortar' they will split and the skin will tear. Each sales person would say that they had not heard of this problem and so on because they want to sell a more expensive furniture and commissions so that more of them. But who do you want to believe, people who have received monetary sales to think about or a technology that has seen this problem directly? Good luck with your decision!
